  • 1-Link

1-Link provides an electronic trading platform bringing together suppliers and purchasers within the automotive sector.

  • AA

The Automobile Association was created by people like you – keen drivers who just wanted fair treatment.

Not much has changed on that front since June 1905, when four driving enthusiasts banded together in London to form the AA. From day one our goal has been exactly the same: to protect you, the motorist, and put your interests first.

With over 15 million members from the original 90, it's fair to say we've grown a bit; in fact, we're now the UK's largest motoring organisation, still going strong over a century later. From setting up our first motorbike patrols to piloting 'connected cars', we've got a unique history of embracing new technology and innovations to better serve you.

  • Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency

We carry out driving tests, approve people to be driving instructors and MOT testers, carry out tests to make sure lorries and buses are safe to drive, carry out roadside checks on drivers and vehicles, and monitor vehicle recalls.

DVSA is an executive agency, sponsored by the Department for Transport.

  • Federation of Small Business

As experts in business, we offer our members a wide range of vital business services including advice, financial expertise, support and a powerful voice in government. Our mission is to help smaller businesses achieve their ambitions. We are a not-for-profit organisation, led by a team of our members, which exists to serve the small business community across the UK.

  • Green Flag

Green Flag is different from the AA and the RAC. We don't have a fleet of branded vans, but efficiently utilise a nationwide network of over 2,300 vehicles and mechanics to rescue our customers when they break down. We manage each and every breakdown from operational centres, sending help wherever it’s needed across the UK.

  • Institute of the Motor Industry

IMI is the professional association for individuals working in the retail motor industry and the authoritative voice of the sector. IMI is transforming the automotive industry by setting, upholding and promoting professional standards – driving skills acquisition, establishing clearer career paths, and boosting public confidence.

Established in 1920, the IMI filled a specific need for individuals desiring recognition for their accomplishments, and the recognition they received led to a steady growth in membership. Those needs still exist today therefore membership and professional recognition remains at the core of our existence.

  • ISO

We worked extremely hard over decades to become ISO Standard-certified (International Standardisation Organisation). ISO Standards are internationally recognised standards of workmanship and service.

  • LV Britannia Rescue

Britannia Rescue is one of the foremost names in breakdown coverage in the UK

  • RAC

Ever since its foundation in 1897, the RAC has been consistently at the forefront of developing motoring services - from introducing uniformed patrols in 1901 and roadside emergency telephone boxes in 1912 right through to the present day when we boast what we believe to be the world's most advanced computer systems to deal with calls for roadside assistance.

In 2001 the RAC designed, developed and launched a retractable rapid deployment trailer which is stored in the back of all its patrol vans. Keeping pace with modern vehicles, which are becoming increasingly complex, all RAC patrols are equipped with the latest mobile diagnostic equipment – RAC Scan+ – which enables them to quickly identify faults that would otherwise have to be dealt with by a garage. A fleet of fuel patrols was launched in 2010 to help people who mistakenly put the wrong fuel in their vehicles.

In 2014 the RAC rolled out a pioneering universal spare wheel designed to speed up the fix time and minimise inconvenience for members who experience a puncture without having a spare. In addition, a fleet of tyre vans was also introduced to complement the RAC’s experienced patrols who have an excellent record of fixing the majority of punctures at the roadside or temporarily fitting the universal wheel.

And, as standard, every RAC van carries more than 500 parts and tools which patrols use to get members’ vehicles going again as quickly as possible. The RAC is very proud of its record of repairing four out of five vehicles at the roadside.
