Our History

Roger's Rescue was established in 1985 by Roger Dawson, as a small, family-run business carrying our rescue and recovery to local people.

More than 30 years later we have two thriving businesses; Roger's Rescue, a nationwide roadside breakdown & accident recovery service with over 40 IVR & ADR qualified members of staff, operating 24-hours a day 365 days a year; and Auto Support, offering all repair, maintenance and MOT services on all makes and models of car and commercial vehicle, from our large modern workshop in Kidderminster.

Roger’s three sons, Nick, Joe and Richard, are all now directors of the businesses and continue to maintain the complete customer focus and drive for excellence that has been Roger’s ethos from day one. This is underpinned by our membership of, or affiliation with, several leading motor industry organisations such as the AA, RAC, Green Flag. We are also a proud of Servicesure Autocentre and ISO Standard-certified.

Recovery Specialists

Roger's Rescue have workshops in three locations; Kidderminster, Worcester and Strensham and we cover all areas of the West Midlands, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire. Many customers have used us from the day we started and their now-adult children use us too these days, which is one of the joys of our longevity.

The Roger's Rescue control hub is situated at the Strensham motorway services of the M5 (south) at its junction with the M50, allowing us to quickly reach customers who urgently need our breakdown and recovery services when stranded on the areas’ motorway network.

Repair Services

In addition to our rescue and recovery work, we offer a full range of workshop services for repair, maintenance and MOTs. Our MOT testing lane has a pit so we are able to offer Class 4, 5 & 7 MOTs as large commercial vehicles up to 44 tonnes, such as motorhomes, HGV, coaches and horseboxes; we even get the odd stretch limo!

We are fully equipped with all the latest dealer-level diagnostic equipment and specialist tooling required to diagnose and fix any problem you might have with your car or commercial vehicle. Our team of technicians are all highly trained, qualified and experienced, and no job is too large or too small. We offer all maintenance work, and maintenance agreements, tuning, calibration, diagnostics, and major and minor repair work.
